Moultrie Mobile Plans: Prices, Limits and Which to Pick (2026)
Short answer: Moultrie Mobile sells three per-camera cellular plans. Standard covers 1,000 photos and 10 videos a month, Unlimited covers unlimited photos and 50 videos, and Pro Series adds hunting-planning tools and a discount on extra cameras. The app is free, but every cellular camera needs a paid plan to send pictures.
Prices on this page come from Moultrie’s own plans page and support articles, and I’ve flagged where they disagree. Moultrie changes rates and promotions, so confirm the final price in the app at checkout.
Moultrie Mobile plans at a glance
| Plan | Photos a month | Videos a month | Price per camera |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | 1,000 | 10 | $9.99 monthly, or $8.99 a month billed annually |
| Unlimited | Unlimited | 50 | About $16.99 monthly, or $12.99 a month billed annually |
| Pro Series | Unlimited | 50 | $22.99 a month listed; extra cameras $7.99 each |
Moultrie’s support page lists Standard at $9.99 a month or $107.88 a year, which matches the $8.99-a-month annual rate. The Unlimited figures come from an older Moultrie FAQ, and the current plans page shows $12.99 with an annual and monthly toggle, so treat the monthly Unlimited price as approximate. The plans page also shows the same number for monthly and annual on some plans, which doesn’t add up, so check the in-app price before you commit.

What each plan includes
Standard
Good for one or two cameras that don’t take many pictures. It includes camera sharing and the free app features. If you run out of photos, you can add 500 more for $4.99, and 50 extra videos cost $1.
Unlimited
Worth it for a busy feeder or trail where a camera fires constantly. You stop watching the photo counter, and you get 50 videos a month.
Pro Series
Aimed at people who run several cameras. It adds HuntPlan tools such as property lines, wind forecasts and deer survey features. After the first camera, each additional camera on the plan is listed at $7.99 a month. If you run three or more Moultrie cameras, do the math here before buying separate plans.
Is the Moultrie app free?
The app itself is free and includes camera setup and controls, photo viewing and map features. But Moultrie states on its plans page that all cellular connected devices require a paid subscription. A free app does not make a cellular camera send photos. The separate HuntPlan product is $4.99 a month per account and isn’t a camera plan.
How to choose
- One camera, light use: Standard on an annual plan.
- One busy camera: Unlimited.
- Three or more cameras: price Pro Series against separate plans.
- Tight budget: check our cheapest trail camera plan comparison, since some brands cover several cameras on one account. Tactacam’s approach is explained in our REVEAL plans guide.
To reduce the number of photos you pay for, lower the upload frequency in the app. Moultrie also notes that fewer uploads help if the camera drains batteries too quickly.
Activating a plan
Create a Moultrie account in the app or on the website, then activate the camera. For EDGE cameras, Moultrie’s manual says to go to Devices, then Activate, scan the QR code inside the control panel door and choose a plan. Moultrie’s support page suggests activating and testing at home. Our Moultrie setup guide covers batteries, SD cards and mounting, and connecting a trail camera to your phone compares the other brands.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to pay every month?
You can choose monthly or annual billing. Annual works out cheaper per month.
Can I switch plans later?
Plans and add-ons are purchased and managed in the Moultrie app, so you can adjust as your needs change.
Do all Moultrie cameras need an SD card?
No. Moultrie says EDGE cameras don’t need an SD card or a SIM card, while Delta cameras use an SD card up to 32 GB.
Which Moultrie plan is best for hunters with several cameras?
Pro Series, because extra cameras are discounted. Compare the total against separate Standard plans.
